Matthew is the one turning ideas into actual trips.<\/p>

He\u2019s constantly mapping routes, optimizing itineraries, and figuring out how to fit the most into a limited number of days without it feeling rushed. If there\u2019s a better way to structure a trip, he\u2019s already found it.<\/p>

But beyond the planning, he\u2019s always chasing the experience. Whether it\u2019s hiking the Kumano Kodo in Japan, finding hidden beaches in Hawaii, or saying yes to something slightly outside his comfort zone, he\u2019s the one pushing every trip just a little further.<\/p>

If it requires effort to get there, it\u2019s probably worth it.<\/p><\/div>

Why we started this blog<\/h3>

We started Our Trips Abroad because we were tired of travel content written by
people who travel full time. We don’t. We have jobs, we pay rent, and we
get the same amount of vacation days as everyone else.

But we’ve figured out how to squeeze two weeks in Japan, a long weekend in Banff
and a Jamaica all-inclusive into a normal working life \u2014 and we started documenting
it so you could too.

No fluff, no sponsored opinions, no “quit your job and travel” nonsense. Just real
trips, real costs and honest takes on everything we’ve done. If we loved it,
