It has amazing climate and beaches.<br><strong>Cons:&nbsp;<\/strong>Large crowds at times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-about-kihei\">About Kihei<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Like we mentioned above, Kihei has some of the best weather on the island. Due to that, it is also the most popular places on the island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kihei is located in South Maui. In South Maui you will find beatiful pristine beaches and tons of places to snorkel. Kihei is also home to the most restaurants and shopping. Having being right in the \u201cHeart of Maui\u201d it is centrally located to every other area of Maui.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-hotels-or-resorts-we-would-recommend\">Hotels, or resorts we would recommend<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>For places to stay, there are fewer hotels and more condos in this area with varying nightly rates. (Our opinion)<br><strong>Pros:&nbsp;<\/strong>The best climate, lots of shopping and things to do.<br><strong>Cons:<\/strong>&nbsp;Less budget friendly<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-about-wailea\">About Wailea<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This is in our opinion the second best place to stay in all of Maui. Just south of Kihei within the South Maui region. Wailea offers some of the nicest beaches in all of Maui, with the softest sand and lots of hikes in the area. Wailea is arguably the most expensive area of the island, but that says something! Its beautiful!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are looking for a 5 star resort, look no further. There are so many 5 star resorts to choose from, and trust us, they are all SO gorgeous and luxurious. Wailea also has many high end luxury shopping at The Shops. Waliea is for those with a deeper pocket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-hotels-or-resorts-we-would-recommend-0\">Hotels, or resorts we would recommend<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>These are two of our favourite 5 star resorts, perfect for any type of vacation. It also has extremely nice beaches, but comes with that, is crowds. Ka\u2019anapali has some of the islands nicest resorts, from expensive to budget friendly. It is also home to 2 championship golf courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are looking for a vacation that is self contained, in which you prefer to sit and relax on the beach and drink Mai Thais and hit up the links, Ka\u2019anapali is perfect for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-hotels-or-resorts-we-would-recommend-1\">Hotels, or resorts we would recommend<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Like we said, Ka\u2019anapali is home to some very nice resorts, but also some affordable ones.
